Look of the Day: Kelly and Courtney

I absolutely adore this dress. Kelly Ripa looks great - although personally I think she could gain a few pounds...that's neither here or there - it's very pink, girly...which makes it really Mattie.

Courtney Cox pulls off such a great look - I like this dress a lot. It can be worn to a nice dinner, red carpet event and shoes compliment it very well. Very put together. Two thumbs up.

Look of the Day: Thandie, Kim and Rosario

Thandie Newton takes the title today in this multi-color number at an Elle event in London.

Kim Kardashian...dare I say it...has been upgrading her look with a much more classy touch. Here she is in black at the GlobalGrind event in honor of Grammy nominees.

Something a little off...maybe it's the way she's standing in it. Rosario Dawson at the Japan premiere of Seven Pounds.

Look of the Day: Keyshia Cole

I mentioned earlier that Keyshia Cole's new look is a total upgrade. She went Hollywood on us but I'm okay with that. Check out her dress from the Clive Davis Grammy party this past weekend.

Wicked.

Heart the color.

Look of the Day: Adrienne Bailon

Adrienne is killing this dress at the Belvedere IX launch in LA. Yellow (Mimosa to be exact) is the color for the season (spring). Actually, it was dubbed the color of the year by Pantone. Super cute!

Look of the Day: Anne Hathaway and Co.

Photobucket

Anne Hathaway had such a fabulous dress on for last night's 14th Annual Critics' Choice Awards. Hathaway, whose new movie (Bride Wars) hits theatres today, was on Vogue's best dressed list this year.

Rightfully so.

Photobucket

InStyle held an event in Beverly Hills on behalf of award season last night. There were so many cute dress and great shoes that I decided to share all of the looks I enjoyed. Here's Debra Messing in a saucy navy blue number...I haven't decided if I really like it or if it's trying too hard.

Photobucket

This is soooo something I would wear.

Photobucket

I love a kelly green dress...the gold shoes go with it well.

Photobucket

Great dress. Bad hair.

Photobucket

Such a girly girl dress...one word comes to mind - whimsical.

Very clean, polished, high society look. Loves it...

Look of the Day: Carrie Underwood

I love this dress! You know I loves it...Carrie rarely disappoints me. Here she is at the People Choice Awards.

I absolutely adore this emerald number. GORGEOUS!

Look of the Day: Kate Hudson

I love this look! Kate Hudson has been impressing me lately with her choice of wardrobe. I absolutely adore this mini dress with black tights and platforms. The colors are perfect and it's a bit unpredictable. I don't think it's first thought to put a multi colored sequins dress with dark tights, but it totally works.

Very well done.

Look of the Day: Lauren Conrad

There almost wasn't a look of the day today. I'm so serious. Technically, today's look isn't even from this year. Honestly, celebrities looked alarming tacky or boring for New Year's and it's a slow news day.

So, I'm taking it back to 'The Hills' finale where Lauren donned this cute little number. (She didn't have a picture with just her in it, hence Audrina. I guess her dress was cute too.) I really enjoy Lauren's style...very seldom does she disappoint. She's very laid back yet stylish without trying too hard. What's not to love about that?

Look of the Day: Eva, Kim and Paz

I know I've miss the LOTD for the last couple of the days. But trust me...these looks make up for that.

Last week's FAB, Eva Mendes, does it again in this fabulous yellow number that honestly is my favorite look of the week. Usually, I pick a new FAB on Fridays but I can't say that anyone impressed more than Eva this past week. Her stylist is my hero.

Kim Kardashian has seriously been impressing me with her last few wardrobe choices. She's been look so chic and feminine. I love this asymmetrical, silver dress on her...i accentuates her curves without being tasteless.

I love a pretty, girly dress and Paz Vega (of The Spirit) did this look justice. I love the color (purple makes my heart smile) and the A-line silhouette. I'm telling you, the women of The Spirit have been on it lately...

Look of the Day: Tom and Leo

Never before has a man coveted the prestigious LOTD title. Today, a barrier has been broken.

Honestly, I didn't see any dress or ensemble by a female that blew me away today. However, when I saw Tom Cruise in this suit at the Valkyrie NYC premiere last night, I was impressed...to the least. There is nothing - NOTHING - better than a man in a great suit.

But, then Leonardo DiCaprio was very put together at his premiere for Revolutionary Road in LA. So I had to give it to the both of them.

Look of the Day: Rihanna, Kristin and Kim

You know I love this. She just can really do no wrong. Here, Rihanna is backstage at z100's Jingle Ball this past weekend. Performers included her beau Chris Brown, Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Brandy, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis and many more.

Being the girly-girl that I am, I absolutely love a sparkly gown. Kristin Chenoweth rocks a fabulous dress for a Christmas event in Washington DC. This is such an appropriate look for the holiday especially if you're going to a formal event.

Kim Kardashian wore a pretty, gold ensemble at Spike TV's Video Game Awards. I really enjoy the whole look: her hair, the way the dress fits her, and her accessories. SOmetimes she can be a little extra but in this instance she really pulled off a put together look.

Look of the Day: Keri and Salma

I love this look for the red carpet. Kudos to Keri Russell. It's the perfect shade of nude - you know the kind that doesn't wash you out. And also, I love that she picked a bold colored shoe to contrast the dress. (Matchy-matchy a BIG no-no!)

The hotness continues. Salma Hayek was a perfect example how white done in winter is AWESOME. She donned a white satin gown for a red carpet event in Dubai last night. Well done, Salma. The accessories complimented the ensemble and her body is sick.

Flawless.

Look of the Day: Rihanna, Eva and Agyness

Rihanna. In a jumpsuit. Of course, she's got the look of the day! Loves it! Here Rihanna is backstage at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in London where she performed last night. The jumpsuit looks very Alexander McQueen. Loving the necklace. Her accessories game is always on point.

Oh, Eva. When will the cuteness stop? I spotted this look yesterday and after sleeping on it I had to give it to her. I just have a thing for cute dresses. And apparently she's busting all of hers out for her movie promo tour. Miss Eva Mendes is looking good (again) at the Paris premiere of The Spirit.

Supermodel Agyness Deyn is just to fabulous for words. I'll take the shoes, the dress and the coat please...I'll do without the neon pink headband however. Don't know about Agyness? Educate yourself.

Look of the Day: Cate and Jennifer

Cate Blanchett at last night's Hollywood Premiere of "The Curious Case of benjamin Button." Seriously, I would live in this dress. I think this is my favorite dress out of all the LOTD's. Anyone who knows me, knows I love anything sparkly (and within reason.) This dress is just absolutely lovely...divine.

Five stars.

My girl Jennifer Lopez looked glamorous per usual at the same event in a beautiful, off white gown. The woman just knows how to pull a look off.

Look of the Day: Dita Von Teese

Love, love, love, love this dress. The color, the shape, the everything. Dita Von Teese is uberglamorous. Her look and style is very film noir. Nobody else is really doing what she's doing with the whole burlesque, old school glamour approach. She pulls it off very well. Anyone else would probably seem gimmicky. Not her. She's really tiny too. Have you seen her waist? (And is it just me or is she having some trouble with those shoes?)

Look of the Day (Friday): Debra and Keri

Here are the looks of the day from Friday. (The internet was acting crazy this weekend.)

Debra Messing nabbed the LOTD with this fabulous blue number. It's such a great shade of color for her. Especially with that gorgeous red hair.

You know how I enjoy a good jumpsuit. Keri Hilson rocked one in ATL at her show looking very chic. Well done.

Look of the Day (Update): Eva and Scarlett

Ok, so I know I had given the LOTD crown to Christina today but she's gonna have to share.

I just came across these pics of Eva Mendes and Scarlett Johansson at the UK launch of their new movie, The Spirit.

If there's one thing I enjoy it's pretty ladies in pretty dresses. Both of their looks - dress, hair, shoes - perfection.

Well done, ladies. Well. Done.

Look of the Day: Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera had the look of the day. Here she is at last night’s 2009 Grammy nominations concert.

It was the first time in a long time that I had seen her not be so extra. I enjoyed the hair, make up and dress. I even liked her bangs. (Something about really short bangs that irk me.) Nonetheless, she did her thing on the red carpet.

Look of the Day: Jessica and Miranda

Red seems to be the color of the day. My two picks for Look of the Day both dazzled in crimson dresses with beautiful silhouettes. I love red, especially this time of the year. Quite honestly I don't think that you can really get away with red accept for this time of year. It's such a potent color but when you do it right - you make a memorable statement.

I have a holiday party coming up and I would love to find a cute little black dress with a great pair of satin red pumps or a fierce red dress.

Any ideas?

Anyhow, my first pick was Jessica Alba in a red number she wore to the 2009 Campari Calendar event in Milan - I'm not sure who it's by but she was pictured with Donatella Versace so my guess it was by them. Not only does the color make this dress but also the silhouette. Her shoes were sick also. They were these fabulous platform wedges. Usually, I'm not a fan of matching shoes and dress but this was one of the rare occasions that actually worked.

Second, we have Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr in a bandage dress. She's a tiny little thing isn't she? My guess is that the dress is Herve Leger. He's like the king of the bandage dress as far as I'm concerned. What I like about her whole look is how all of her hair is swept to one side and that she paired her scarlet dress with some nude patent leather pumps.

As you know, you can do patent leather all year round and you really can't go wrong with nude. I feel like nude, patent leather pumps are one of those essential shoe items you NEED in your closet. Nine West (the 'Barbe') had a great pair from early this year. My favorite look is when Carrie had an interview at Vogue in SATC and she was in this classic Vivienne Westwood pinstripe suit and paired them nude, patent leather (I believe they were patent) Manolo Blahnik pumps.

Seriously, her style was impeccable.

Look of the Day: Beyonce, Kerry and the Angels

The Look of the Day goes to the Victoria’s Secret models. Here they are at the grand opening of the Lexington Avenue Flagship Store in NYC earlier today.

Hate if you want to but you know these ladies are stunning. Can’t wait for the fashion show tomorrow!

No, seriously. Everytime I see Kerry Washington she’s fabulous, looking gorgeous in a glamorous dress. When is this ish going to stop?

For that reason, she gets the Look of the Day.

Beyonce is killing this dress. Here she is at the NYC premiere of her new movie, Cadillac Records. I’m not a fan of the hair but I’m going to blame that on the Texas in her. She could do worse.
