Hello Lover: Good Morning Edition

After having a lot on my mind last night, I decided to start my day with things that make me smile. Nothing starts your day like a good breakfast and cute shoes.

Hello Lover: Jumpsuits!

Juliette Lewis sported a fabulous jumpsuit at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in NYC this week.

I must say that after checking out a few collections, I’m really starting to like the return of the jumpsuit. The look is a little more relaxed, with the fit being loose yet still glamorous like the sparkly number Juliette has on. (I must admit though I’m not a fan of the shoes with this number.) But if you think about it, this is an ensemble that Carrie would wear….definitely!

As you all know by now, the "Hello Lover" section of the blog is dedicated to shoes that literally make your mouth water. They are creations and masterpieces that stir up only one emotion out of a woman: love. And this shoe certainly qualify. World, meet Tisha (by Betsey Johnson).

I just discovered her on Piperlime and she's only $229.99. Yeah okay, it's a bit much but it is Betsey. Anyways, they sold out of my size. Well, they've actually sold out of most of the sizes. *Sigh*

Hello Lover: Jeffrey Campbell's "Marly" and Nine West's "Yung"

Here are some fantabulous shoes I thought I'd share with you world. But don't thank me, thank Jeffrey Campbell. His "Marly" platforms can be yours for $125 from Urban Outfitters.



They're very similar to Nine West's "Yung" platform. Now these 4 inch beauties of patent leather perfection aren't available until Nov. 15 but for $119 I will make sure they're a part of the fall/winter collection in my closet. It may not seem like a fall shoe because it's open toe but with the right ensemble (like a layered, lace, tutu skirt with a fitted turtleneck under a shrunken leather jacket) this shoe is perfect for the fall!

I love fall...but more so I love shoes.

Hello Lover!: Jimmy Choo Electra Patent Sandals

These are one of my ultimate shoe fantasies for this summer! (Hence the term "Hello, lover". I can only say hello and goodbye to these puppies.) These Jimmy Choo Electra Patent Sandals are quite fabulous and on sale at Net-A-Porter for a cool $556.50. Yeah...I'm not sure how many jobs I'm going to have to get but I'm going to do whatever it takes to own these. And soon.

Ooooh, they give me a toothache...they're so sweet!

I've been looking for some cute open toe slide shoes and these are perfection! You can get the Michael Kors Croc-Embossed Slides for $119 (plus shipping if you order online). But aside from open toe shoes, platform and square-toed pumps are in full effect and I've got to get my hands on a few which brings us to the Michael Kors McClane Patent Pumps.
