Louis Vuitton Gets a New Holiday Look

I was checking out one of my favorite blogs, Nitrolicious and saw that the Louis Vuitton store on Fifth Avenue in NYC got a fabulous new look.

How do you like the new look?

The flagship store was wrapped in the Takashi Murakami Multicolore Monogram this past weekend. (Remember Jessica Simpson used to carry around that handbag in "Newlyweds"? I was obsessed with that thing!)

Not liking it at all. It looks much more amazing without all of the distracting signature pattern. A few years ago I photographed this building between Christmas & New Years' because I was stuck but the simplicity of the design and careful integration with modernity and timelessness.

But just as tourists flock to Saks to see the dancing snowflakes near the tree, they will flock to see this one before the Swarovsky Crystal Snowflake hanging in this intersection.

But...that's just the design perspective. It is marketing GENIOUS
